Human trafficking is also known as modern slavery in Northern Ireland and the UK.
If you have concerns about human trafficking in Northern Ireland you can contact the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
Alternatively you can telephone the UK Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline, operated by the charity Unseen UK, on 08000 121 700, or make a report via their website.
Since the introduction of the offence of paying for sexual services under the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Criminal Justice and Support for Victims) Act (Northern Ireland) 2015, we have noted an increase in clients of sex workers attempting to report concerns about trafficking to Ugly Mugs. We cannot accept such reports.
