We also feature here links to our Support Services directory, Police Liaison section, and some of the main support services for sex workers in Northern Ireland.

Police Liaison

PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) Sex Work Liaison Officers (SWLOs) work closely with sex workers to encourage reporting of crime.  Sex workers should find these officers friendly and understanding of sex work.  If you are a victim of crime or concerned about crime, you can choose to contact these officers direct.

Visit our Police Liaison Officers section (only available to logged in members of UM) for full details of the SWLOs including names, phone numbers and email addresses.  You can also contact the PSNI SWLOs by emailing: [email protected]

In an emergency, always call the police on 999 / 112.

Support Services

Visit Support Services Directory for details of  various organisation in Northern Ireland offering support to sex workers.

All the organisations listed in our Support Services directory have agreed they are sex worker friendly organisations, who support the human rights of sex workers, and provide non-judgemental and non-discriminatory services to sex workers.

If you are looking for support in the Republic of Ireland, rather than Northern Ireland, we recommend visiting the Sex Workers Alliance Ireland (SWAI) website.
